In the recently held NEET UG exam the students of Expert PU Colleges Kodialbail and Valachil have secured exemplary results. As many as 925 Expert students have gained eligibility this year.
A total of 1016 students at Expert wrote NEET UG this year. Of these 925 students are eligible to get medical admission. For eligibility, general merit students need to score 131 marks out of the total 720 marks and the category students need 107 marks.
Rankings have been declared in various categories at the National Level. In categories, the Expert students from both Kodialbail and Valachil secured the following ranks. Mayur M. secured 48th rank, Trishul Kumar Nayak 246th rank and Sujith S. has secured 484th rank. In the General category Rajath Jain secured 840th rank, Rashmi Giridhar Bhat 1061st rank, Prarthana R. 1135th rank, V.Y. Prajwal 2109th rank, Megha D. 2271st rank, Annapoorna P. 2284th rank, Tejaswini Shekar 2461st rank, Anjitha M.N. 3027th rank, Rachana R. 3361st Rank, Jeevan B.R. 3597th Rank, Joshna Shree M. 3675th rank and Manasa T.K. has scored 3785th Rank.
In addition, Shivani M.D. has scored 576 marks out of the total 720 and Poojitha R. has scored 579, Anjana R. 564 and Shashank Gowda A.S. has scored 559 marks. The ranking announced now are only All India Rankings and in a day or two State rankings would be announced. 85% of the medical seats would be allocated by the state government through counselling thereafter. The Chairman of the Institution, Prof. Narendra L. Nayak has congratulated the students who have secured good results. We may recall here that, Prathik S. Nayak of Expert PU College earlier secured the first rank in Engineering and B.Pharma categories of KCET 2017 and Srujana N. of Expert College has topped the 2nd PUC Board examination 2017 results in the Science stream.
