Independence Day celebration at Expert PU College, Kodialbail

73rd INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT EXPERT P U COLLEGE, KODIALBAIL, MANGALURU

“Shape your career by hard work and sacrifice”, said Mr. Manohar Prasad, The Assistant Editor, Udayavani National Daily Newspaper, the chief guest of the 73rd Independence Day celebration by Expert PU College, Kodialbail, Mangaluru held at Shree Bhagavati temple premises, Kodialbail, Mangaluru.

The chief guest recalled the role and contribution of the leaders of Dakshina Kannada to the Independence struggle. He said that we need to respect and honour the freedom fighters because of whom we are independent today. Mr. Manohar Prasad also said that the love towards our nation will be inculcated only through an educational institution and let us all understand the meaning and importance of the real Independence, spread the same message to everyone. He added that the students have to be the nation builders.

 Prof. Narendra L Nayak, Chairman, Dr. Ushaprabha N Nayak , Vice-chairperson, Mr. Suresh Pai, Trustee of Expert Educational & Charitable Foundation®, Mangalore,  Prof. Ramachandra Bhat, Principal, Expert P U College, Kodialbail, Mr.Ankush N Nayak, Director of Information Technology, Expert Group of Institutions, Mangalore, Mrs. Deepika A Nayak, Mr. Madhava  Jeppupatna, Trustee of Bhagavati Temple, Kodialbail, Mangalore and Yogaratna Gopalakrishna Delampady were the dignitaries present on the dais.

The national flag was hoisted by the chief guest and it was followed by the cultural programme.

Dr. Ushaprabha N Nayak, Vice-chairperson, Educational & Charitable Foundation®, Mangalore, administered the oath of office to the newly elected members of the student council and gave a message to the office bearers to be good leaders and told them to develop quality of leadership. She also said that everything is pivoted towards leadership and in the present scenario we need good leaders to have a disciplined nation and institution. Indian flag is a combination of four colors, in which we forget the fourth color blue of Ashoka Chakra without which Indian flag is incomplete; in the same way students are the nation builders without whom an institution is incomplete.

Various competitions were held in connection with the Independence Day and the prizes were distributed on this occasion.
